Cattle ban reimposed (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, Feb. 2. New Zealand had reimposed an import ban on Australian cattle after an outbreak of disease in Australia, the Australian Minister of Health (Dr Forbes) announced today. Dr Forbes sand that the livestock disease, ephemeral fever, three-day sickness, had been detected in New South Wales cattle. The import ban on Australian cattle was lifted late last year after a prohibition lasting since 1880.
