School head retiring

The principal of the Nelson School, of Music for the last 17 years, Mr H. S. V. Colombatti, is to retire on December 31. He' will be succeeded by Mr R. E. White. The appointment was announced by the chairman of the School of Music Trust Board (Mr R. B. Rainey). Mr Colombatti said he wgs retiring from the prjncipalship because he thought it was time a younger man took over, but he would continue to teach at the school and at Nelson College and Nelkin College for Giris.
