THEFT FROM HOUSE
Burglars stole travellers’ cheques, a movie camera, a radio and clothing, worth a total of $316, when they broke into a house in England Street, Linwood, on Friday. The same night thieves broke into the Kaiapoi Working Mens’ Club and stole $67, and $40.60 was taken from Chandlers Catering Service and Quick Lunch at 640 Colombo Street ‘ Women’s clothing and make-up worth $5O was sto- ; len from a house in St Albans Street and $29 was ! taken from premises at 7 Riccarton Street.
