Talks on pilot training

(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov. 8. Consultations on pilot training methods and operational problems of the United States and Royal New Zealand Air Force have been held between the Chief of Staff of the U.S.A.F, (General J. D. Ryan) and New Zealand’s Chief of Air Staff (Air Vice-Marshal W. H. Stratton). Afterwards General Ryan said there were no difficulties. The talks have been held annually since 1961 and are very informal. “We have reached the stage of being compatible,” Air Vice-Marshal Stratton said. “Our operational procedures are similar and there is no need for improvement. We are very ®se.”
