TUSSOCK FIRE
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 9. A fire-fighting party is preparing to travel by foot tomorrow morning to fight a fire in tussock country in the Ruahines, immediately south of the Rangiwahia ski hut and east of Mangaweka. Mr W. Girling-Butcher, fire control officer of the Forest Service, said today that the fire had already spread over 15 acres. Continuing fine weather was forecast for the district.
