Coach’s visit delayed
The coach of the New Zealand men’s softball team since 1966, Mr A. W. J. Whelan, of Auckland, rated as one of the world’s leading authori- i ties on the sport, has delayed his visit to Christchurch until Sunday, November 15. The Canterbury association had planned to have Mr Whelan give a lecture and practical demonstrations at a coaching clinic on Monday November 2, and it now hopes to organise this at the later date.
