Barred from bars
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SYDNEY, Oct. 11. Australia’s leading race-horse-trainer, T. Smith has revealed he has been barred from drinking in the members’ bars at Australian Jockey Club race meetings. He told reporters he had received a letter from the A.J.C. after he had been seen drinking in the members’ bar with a leading racehorse owner, Sir James Kirby. , But Smith did not appear to be concerned with the ban. “It’s simply bad luck. The answer is simple. HI drink somewhere -else,” he said.
