Squash Win.—Australia beat South Africa by two matches to nil in the third and final squash rackets challenge match in Johannesburg, thus winning the series without defeat. K. Hiscoe beat D. Botha, 9-6, 9-5, 9-3, and G. Hunt beat D. Barrow, 9-3, 9-4, 7-9, 9-2.
Baseball. The Baltimore Orioles beat the Cincinnati Reds, 4-3, in the opening game of basebail’s 1970 world series in Cincinnati. Ohio.
