Burglaries at week-end

Property worth $152 was| stolen when the Bryndwr! Service Station, on the corner of Strowan Road and Normans Road, was broken into during the week-end. In other week-end burglaries, $2B was stolen from the Home Bakery, Ltd, Colombo Street, and a transistor radio and liquor of a total value of $lB were taken from a house in Averill Street. Three offices at 302 Cashel Street were burgled and damage estimated at $6O was caused. A number of internal doors in the, offices were kicked in and in two cases the door jamb was torn from the wall. A small quantity of cash and other property was stolen from the offices occupied by Transport Wholesale, Ltd, Wickjiffe Press, and a public accountant. A record-player worth $9B was taken . recently from a house in Clare Road.
