WINDSOR SCHOOL

New work of $47,000 (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Sept 18. The Canterbury Education Board has been authorised to accept a tender for the erection of six additional classrooms and extensions to the administrative accommodation at Windsor .School, Christchurch. The school’s heating system will also be extended. Advice of this has been received by the member for Rangiora (Mr H. E. L. Pickering) from Mr G. F. Gair, Parliamentary Under-Secre-tary to the Minister of Education. The building work will be carried out by L.R. Builders, Ltd, whose tender of §47,343 was the lowest of six received. The heating system will be installed by W.S.W. Plumbing, whose tender of $5465 was the lowest of four received.
