HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL CLOSURE OF ROAD TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1965, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of enabling the holding of the 1970 SheH Silver Fern Rally, the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. Portions of the Summit Road between the County boundary and Mount Pleasant Road and the entrance to the TV Station, road, and between the Sign of the Kiwi and Gebbies Pass.

During the period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road: flag marshals in communication by radio telephone to halt competition to allow the passage of traffic. Period of closure: 10.30 a.m. to 1.45 p.m. on Thursday, September 10. 1970. Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic: Nil. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure. K.
