Postal Workers Discuss Wages

More than 300 members of the Post Office Association attended the monthly meeting of the Christchurch section this week to hear a report on the association’s conference and to discuss wages. The section chairman (Mr L. R. Casey), said the meeting unanimously supported the action of the executive council and the executive committee in their efforts to gain a satisfactory settlement of claims and would support any steps recommended, “even to final industrial action.”
