Sth Korea Winner (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) KUALA LUMPUR. South Korea won the 12nation, thirteenth annual Merdeka soccer tournament with a 1-0 victory over the favoured Burmese. It was the first outright Merdeka win for Korea which has been joint holder three times—with Malaysia in 1960, Taiwan in 1965, and Burma in 1967. It was Burma's first loss in the tournament in which it had previously won five matches and drawn one. The final placings were; •South Korea 1, Burma 2, India 3, Hong Kong 4, Malaysia 5, Indonesia 6, Japan 7, Taiwan 8 Thailand 9. Western Australia 10, South Vietnam 11. Singapore
