Busar bag« of potatoes Vttf again cheaper at the Christchurch produce markets yesterday. They fetched Up to S 5 cents, 15 cents less than on Thursday. Pumpkins cost *0 cents less, fetching Up to *1.50 * sack. Carrots, selling at up to $1.20 a case cost 10 cents less.
Cauliflowers, however, were 30 cents dearer, costing up to $l.lO a case. While Sugar bags of onions selling at up to S 4. cost *0 cents more. Sliver beet. Increased by up to 20 cents, and sold from 80 cent* to $1 a case.
While Chinese gooseberries sold for 40 cents more, costing up to $3.40 a case, tamarillos were 30 cents cheaper, and sold at up to U. 50 a case.
