118 Nominated For Junior Rugby Trials

(N.Z. Press Association? WELLINGTON. Nominations for the Junior AU Black trials at Levin on July 30 have been forwarded to the New Zealand selectors. Only 30 places, plus reserves, are available from the 118

nominations received. After the trials, the Junior team to play Fiji on August 1 will be selected. The selectors (Messrs P. T. Walsh and V. L. George) will name the two trial sides at the week-end. Twenty nominations have been made for the four wing positions, the most for any one position, although 12 half-backs will miss out when two are named in the team.
