It In that behalf enabling, and by virtue of the aanction of the Local Authorltiee Loans Board granted at a meeting of that Board held on the 12th day of May, 1970, the Chrletchurch Drainage Board at a Special Meeting called for that purpose and held at the office ot the Board. 233 Cambridge Terrace. In the City of Christchurch on the 23rd day of June. 1079. DOTH resolve by way of Special Order; <l> That the Christchurch Drainage Board proceed to raise a loan of sixty-five thousand dollars (805.000)' for the pur. pose of meeting the cost of piping open drains. (3) That such toan be known as Drainage Loan No. 3, 1970. and hereinafter be called the said loan. (3) That the term for which the sold loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be 33 years. (4) That the rate of intereat thet may be paid In respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or retes exceeding five end three-quarter* per cent per annum. <S> That the Christchurch Drainage Board shall, before raising the eald loan, or any part thereof, make provision for the repayment thereof by establishing a sinking fund and shall make annuel payment, to euch sinking fund at a rate of not leas than 1.11 per cent per annum of the amount of the loan tor the time being borrowed and not repaid. (() That the payment ot Interest and repayment of prlnclfial in reapeet of the said oan shall be made In Now Zealand, and no amount payable as either Interest or sinking fund tn respect ot the said loan shall be paid out of loan money. (7) That the following commission or fees may be paid in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof: (a) Brokerage not exceeding one-half per cent ot the amount raised. <b> Underwriting commission or fess not exceeding one-half per cent of the amount underwritten. <c) A pleceemnt fee not exceeding three-quarters per cent tn respect of a rilacement by a single ender ot 520.990 or more tor a term of 20 years or more, provided that no placement fee shall be payable tn respect of an underwritten issue or any part thereof. Except as aforesaid, no procuration fees or other fees or commislon of a similar nature shall be paid and no discount shall be allowed to any lender In respect of i the raising of the said loan or any part thereof. (8) That th* security of the said loan to provide for the annual charges thereon be a special rate of 5.06909748 in the dollar to be etruck on the rateable capital value of the Board's Land Drainage Area as describsd by a resolution ot the Board dated the 32nd day of May. 1952. and as altered from time to time by resolution ot the Board under Section 59 of the Christchurch District Drainage Act. 1951. PHONE 385-154. 2345 PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL HIGH PRESSURE WATER SUPPLY RENEWAL LOAN, 1970 NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, and amendments thereto, the Paparua County Council at a meeting held on July 6, 1970, resolved to raise a loan of 5109,540 for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the High Pressure Water Supply Loan, 1958, of $472,000 which matures on the 3rd October, 1970, subject to the terms ot the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board. Repayment of the said loan and interest theron shall be secured by an annual recurring special rate of .0101 cents in the dollar made and levied o<n all rateable property in the county comprised in the security area of the original loan.
