PUBLIC NOTICES CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGM BOARD DRAINAGE LOAN NO. 1, 1979, OF 1180,900 NOTICE is Hereby Given that a special meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board called for that purpose and held at the office of the board In the City of Christchurch on the twenty-third day of June, 1970. the said board did resolve That in pursuance and exercise of the powere vested in it by the Christchurch Drainage Act, 1951, the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, and al) amendments hereto and all other acts, It any, ft in that behalf enabling, and by virtue of the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board granted at a meeting of that board held on the twelfth day of May, 1970, the office of the board, 233 CamChrlstehurch Drainage Board at a special meeting called for that purpose and held at the Office of the board, 233 Cambridge Terrace tn the City of Christchurch on the twenty-third day of June. 1970. doth resolve by way of special order: (1) That the Christchurch Drainage Board proceed to raise a loan of one hundred and eighty thousand dollars (8180,0001 for the purpose of providing piped stormwater outfall to the sea from the proposed urban development north of Beach Road. (2) That such loan be known as drainage loan No. 1. 1970. and hereinafter be called the said loan. (3) That the term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be 35 years. <4) That the rate of interest that may bo paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shell not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding SI per cent per annum. (5) That the Christchurch Drainage Board shall, before raising the said loan, or any part thereof, make provision for the repayment thereof by establishing a sinking fund and shall make annual payment* to such sinking fund at a rat* of not l«se than 1.11 per cent per annum of the amount of the loan for the time being borrowed and not repaid. <6> That th* payment of interest and repayment of principal in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealend. end no emount payeble as either interest or sinking fund tn respect of th* said loan shall be
