Parliament’s Diary
The annual reports of the Government Printing Office, the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council, and the Education Department were tabled when Parliament resumed yesterday afternoon. Two notices of motion were tabled. Ministers answered 12 questions. The Nelson Harbour Board Empowering Bill was returned by the Local Bills Committee with amendments. Two other local bills were passed through their committee stages. The House continued with the Budget debate.
