FIRE AT HOTEL
A fire caused by heat from a toaster burned a wall and a wooden stand before spreading to the ceiling and floor at the Racecourse Hotel, Racecourse Road, yesterday. A passing baker noticed the fire at 3 33 a.m. and firemen from Sockburn and Harewood [attended.
