Gaol Term For Manslaughter

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 14. A sentence of seven years gaol for manslaughter, arising from a fatal stabbing at Porirua on April 16, was imposed by Mr Justice Roper in the Wellington Supreme Court today on Regis Renoe Vidot, aged 28, a freezing worker. A jury last week found Vidot not guilty of the murder of Rita Parapara, but guilty of manslaughter.
