701 Apply For State Homes
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 8. At present there were 701 applications for State rental houses from people in the Christchurch area, of which 215 have been graded as urgent by the Housing Alloca tion Committee. This information was given by the Minister in Charge of tbe State Advances Corporation (Mr Rae) in answer to a written question from Mr M A. Connelly (Lab., Wigram).
