D.S.I.R. Man For Ethiopia

(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA, July 8. An expert on geothermal springs, Mr E. F. Lloyd, of the Geological Survey, Rotorua, will leave tomorrow to join a United Nations-spon-sored project assessing the geothermal steam potential in Ethiopia. Mr Lloyd will work in hot springs areas in the Ethiopian rift and the Danakil depression, about 300 miles from Addis Ababa. Mr Lloyd, who will be accompanied by his wife and family, will be overseas for about 18 months.
