Ski Report
Conditions for ski-ing at Round Hill, Lake Tekapo, are similar to those last week-end. says a report from the Canter bury Ski Association. Skiable snow is down to 4000 ft and al! tows are operating. Ski-ing at Coronet Peak is limited to the top half of the mountain and is suitable for learners at the half-way sta tion. Three inches of snow fell on Tuesday at Mount Cheesman. the top tow Is operating, the road is dry, and the ice skating is good. Conditions are reasonable at the Craigieburn lop tow, with more snow’ since last, week-end Drivers are advised to use chains on the road. Tows are operating at Ohau. where snow fell chi Tuesday. The goods lift will be operating at Temple Basin on Saturday morning, but there is not sufficient snow to run the tows.
