Robertson, of Tipapa, yes-* terday paid a British record price for Charolais cattle when he bid £6825 for a 15-month-old heifer at the Royal show at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, the “Daily Express” reported. In a frantic 90 minutes of bidding more than £83,350* was paid for 36 British-bred; Charolais cattle on auction for the first time. The massive white animals.* which were imported from; France after a fierce contro-i versy nine years ago, are now the most keenly-sought' beef cattle in the world. Americans paid nearly £50,000 for 20 animals. I
