Langland Unfit
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. Australia’s hopes of retaining the Rugby league ashes slumped when the full-back, G. Langlands, was ruled unfit for the deciding third test. Langlands was Australia’s captain in the first test in Brisbane on June 6 when Australia won 37-15. He kicked seven goals from nine attempts. Langlands had to withdraw. from the second test with a fractured thumb, suffered in a club game the previous Monday.! Langlands has been told byi doctors that he must not play; for three weeks.
