Prospect In Maiden
Two-year-olds at this time have their opportunity in maiden races for two-year-olds and upwards on account of the weight concession. Vodka Lad is one of this age engaged at Oamaru tomorrow and in view of his last-start third to I Spy and Phar Wyn at Riccarton on May 19 he must rate a good chance. I Spy is quite a smart filly and Phar Wyn had won two races before that, so there was some merit in Vodka Lad's third - placing.
