SHEEPDOG TRIAL

INVERCARGILL, June 11. Mr P. Gibbs’s Hi, from Wakefield, was judged the champion dog in the bench class when the New Zealand sheepdog trial championships continued at Burwood station today. The dog was also announced the champion hunter.

Second in that section was Mr L. C. Gallien’s (Parangahau) Joe, and third was Mr M. Wadsworth’s (Blenheim) Dog. , The champion heading dog was Mr W. W. Ross’s (Rangiwahia) Speed. Second was Mr T. (Canterbury) Fay, and third was Mr R. M. Wilson’s (Kirwee) Glen.
