Confusion
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, June 11
The Palmerston North City Council has been asked by its publicity committee to negotiate a change of name for the Otago town of Palmerston.
The move has been prompted by the amount of mail misdirected between the two areas.
The problem will also be taken up with the Postmaster General (Mr MeCready), if the council approves.
