FESTIVAL OF LONDON STORES.—London Transport entered this 1919 bus in the Festival of London Stores parade. The passengers entered into the spirit of the parade and all wore appropriate costume. The object of the festival was to “establish London as the shopping centre of the world.” Forty floats took part in the three-mile procession which wound its way round Picadilly, Regent Street, Oxford Street, and Park Lane.
