TEACHING CENTRE

More Space

Needed

The secondary division of the Christchurch Teachers’ College at Ilam is to press for an extension to space for the next stage of its building plans. The teachers’ college council last evening authorised the principal of the secondary division (Mr E. P. Blarnpied) to seek an extension of the audio-visual training centre from 1200 sq. ft to 3000 sq. ft.

Such an extension would provide for the ultimate needs of the college when both primary and secondary divisions used the centre, the chairman (Professor H. E. Field) said.
