The Christchurch filly, Bonnie Frost,, gained the most important win of her career when she outclassed a strong field in the $12,500 Southern Cross Stakes final at Harold Park, Sydney, last Friday night.
Bonnie Frost, the third favourite at 9 to 2, was sixth early and seventh in the eierhthorse field with half a mile left.

Welcome Advice, which started at 11 to 4. The 6 to 4 favourite. Janies Darren, had every chance, but fourth was the best he could manage.
