Forestry Meeting

WELLINGTON, June 1
The first regional meeting on forestry to be held in the South Pacific is being organised by the South Pacific Commission for Noumea at the end of November, the commission announced today. A statement said specialists such as forest conservators and forest engineers would attend. The main items on the agenda would be soil protection, re-afforestation, and the training of forestry and saw-milling staff.
