NIXON APPEAL

President Nixon, armed with an “encouraging” progress report on the Cambodian campaign, plans .to appeal to the nation tomorrow night for support, in a move he hopes will knock down the Senate’s efforts to restrict his military options in Indo-China. Yesterday the White House clarified one aspect of the President's Cambodian policy. It said he had ruled out United States air cover and logistical support for any South Vietnamese forces which might remain in Cambodia after June 30, the deadline for the United States pull-out.—Washington, June 2.
