RA II IN ROUGH SEAS.—The Norwegian explorer, Thor Heyerdahl, ran into high seas soon after setting sail from Safi, Morocco, in his papyrus boat Ra II. Mr Heyerdahl seeks to prove that the ancient Egyptians could have discovered America more than 3000 years before the Italian navigator, Christopher Columbus.
