Couple Still Stranded

' A Whangamata couple who ! left on a day-long fishing trip ; last Friday were still stranded ! today on Slipper Island, about ' 3 miles off the coast from s Tairua. I They are Mr and Mrs R. J. c Tew, who were forced to take c refuge on the island when 1 a storm blew up, police said. They have beached their 16ft C launch and are staying at a o farmhouse. v
