Letter, But No Address (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, MAY 21 A letter, with no return address, has been received by Auckland child welfare authorities from the parents who left their five children in the city while they travelled to Australia. The Auckland district Child Welfare Officer (Mr K. J. Flint) confirmed that he had received a letter from Mr and Mrs J. Sabine last week. “It gives no return address and no indication that they are coming back to New Zealand,” Mr Flint said. Mrs Sabine, a former British and New Zealand night club singer known as Lee Jones, was located with her husband in Perth earlier this month. Mr Flint said the letter basically repeated the sub-, stance of newspaper stories J about their plight, and how they came to go to Australia ' in the first place. When their parents left the 1 city in February last year, the 1 three girls and two boys in I the family, aged from two to < 11 years, were placed in a nursery.
