Press Association) li WELLINGTON, MAY 21. |1 The Commission of Inquiry; set up to investigate New; Zealand's long-term bousing, requirements would be increased from five to six mem ! bers to include a representative of the South Island, the Minister of Housing (Mr Rae); said in Parliament on Wednesday. Replying to Mr J. Mathison (Lab., Avon) Mr Rae agreed! that the commission as originally announced was made up entirely of North Islanders, and that it would be de-i sirahle to include a South! Islander. Mr Rae did not! name the additional appointee. In reply to a further question, he agreed that it might he desirable to include a nonEuropean on the commission, but he thought six members was enough.
