Carpet Stolen

Thieves broke into an empty house in Irvine Street, Riccarton, between Tuesday and yesterday and stole a roll of new carpet valued at $3OO. The carpet is green with a brown fleck through it. ! A watch and cuff links were stolen from a house in Harris Crescent, Papanui, between 7.30 a.m. and 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, and the offices of Tansey and Company, in Chancery Lane, were broken into on Wednesday night and a large suitcase worth $lO stolen.
