Schoolgirls’ Basketball
Three Christchurch schools will play in the South Island inter-secondary schoolgirls' indoor basketball tournament at Greymouth on Friday and Sat urday. Either Mairehau and Rangiora High Schools, the strongest teams in the Christchurch secondary schoolgirls’ competition, or Aranui High; School will have to win the tournament to qualify for the: New Zealand final to be played in Nelson at Queen's Birthday week-end.
Their main opposition will j probably come from Waimea College (Nelson), which won both the South Island and New Zealand finals last year. |
