(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright)
MELBOURNE, i The Scottish Rugby team, looking raw and inexperienced, scored a 34-0 victory over a lowly Victorian state side last night in the opening match of its Australian tour. Playing under floodlights at Onslow Park, Scotland owed its l big score to the young international, W. Lauder, who) kicked a penalty and five con- 1 versions, and scored two snap tries. H
Scotland’s other points came from tries by G. K. Oliver (2). R G. Biggar, C. W. Rea and A. D. Gill.
