Survey On Is. Shipping

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 16. The president of the Bureau of Importers and Exporters (Mr C. C. McPhail), said today that alternative services to the Pacific Islands would be sought if a present survey showed that existing shipping companies were unable to meet exporters’ requirements. Varied reports about the adequacy of present services had led to the survey, Mr McPhail said.
