The Mellay Ally was galloped on and also overreached and cut her pastern during the running ot the sprint at Wingatui oh Tuesday. She failed to respond to treatment and has been ecratehed from her engagement in the Caltex Gold Cup, the feature race at Wlngstui tomorrow, and has been turned- out for a brief spell. „
