Queen Rambai Barni was met on arrival by the president of the International Council of Women (Mrs MaryCraig Schuller), the president of the National Council of Women of Thailand (Khunying Usna Pramoj), and the vice-president (Princess Prem Purachatra). March Past Board members and committee conveners (including Mrs Grant) were presented to Queen Rambai Barni as she walked down a route lined by presidents of national councils of women and girls from local schools. A most impressive part of the ceremony was the march past of Thai girl guides, each of whom carried the national flag of every country represented at the world conference.
