His win in a Zephyr-powered Volkswagen gave him a further 10 points for a total of 50, but his position as winner was confirmed before he competed at the Northland Car Club’s meeting at Pohe Island. R. Emson (Auckland), second in a Rallye Imp on Saturday, was runner-up in the series with 27 points. Third was R. Jones (Auckland) with 17 points.
