The Rev. J. G. Weller, of London, general secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society, will visit Christchurch on February 27 dur-! ing a brief visit to New Zea-' land. During his dav in 'Christchurch he will address church leaders of all denominations at a luncheon to be held in the Knox Presbyterian Church hall. The only other city in New Zealand he will visit is Wellington. Detective Sergeants J. N. Ryder, of Sydney, and V. A. Plattfus, of Melbourne, arrived .in Christchurch yesterday for duty in New Zealand. They will remain until February 15. Detective Sergeant T. O. Tozer, of Christchurch, who left for exchange duties in Australia on December 15, has completed his time with the New South Wales police and is working with the Victorian police in Melbourne.! He is due to return to Christ-! church on February 15. !
