Tennis Field Day

Forty-four players competed in a B grade women’s field day held by the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association at Wilding Park yesterday. Mesdames P. McClintock and J. Cole (Waicola) won a playoff with Mesdames V. Bringans and P. Woods <Waicola), after both had gained 36 points. Mesdames B. been and B. Molnar (Linwood Avenue). 33 points, were third, and Mesdames F. Wilson and G. Currie (Edge, ware), 31, fourth.
