CARGO SHED BURGLARY

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 5. A jury found a 32-year-old man guilty on a charge of burgling the Air New Zealand cargo shed ,at Mangere on October 13 last. Melvyn Charles Pye, store-man-driver, had pleaded not guilty to the burglary charge and an alternative charge of receiving goods worth $15,531.25, made up of gold valued at $7497, watches valued at $7052 and $982.25 in New Zealand currency. The jury reached a verdict after about 50 minutes deliberation. Mr Justice Richmond remanded Pye until February 13 for sentence.
