PUBLISHER MISSING
Church Paper Suspended j (N Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, February 5. The Sydney Church of England newspaper, the “Anglican,” has suspended publication because its publisher, Mr Francis James, is missing in China. The chairman of the newspaper’s trustees (Bishop J. S. Moyes) said today that publication ceased on Tuesday. “We just can’t carry on without Mr James,” he said. “He knows more about the paper than anyone else.” Mr James, who is 51, was last seen on November 4 near the Hong Kong border, apparently intending to cross into British territory after a visit to China.
Bishop Moyes said that he believed Mr James was trappea in a situation .where he could not communicate, even by letter, with Austra-| lia. “We are all terribly Worried about him,” the bishop added.
