Merinos For Export
China, Rumania, Brazil and Argentina were the first countries to buy Merino rams at the Sydney stud sheep sales today after the lifting of a 41-year-old Government ban on the export of Merinos, to allow the sale of 300 rams. The top price today was $16,000, paid by an Australian buyer.—Sydney, Feb. 5.
