Noel Coward Knighted

| (N.Z. P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Feberuary 3. Sir Noel Coward was today dubbed a knight bachelor by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace. Wearing top hat, tails, and pin-stripe trousers, he told reporters afterwards: "The Queen was absolutely charming. She always is. I've known her since she was a little girl. She tapped me very lightly with the sword, thank goodness."
